Most people have been told about the benefits of meditation for their health but many people don't know where to begin. Start the new year with a meditation training that will give you the skills you need to develop your home meditation practice. This is an immersion class so you will both learn about and experience the benefits of meditation and mindfulness.
Practicing mindful meditation brings you into the present moment. We will cover the science behind these techniques and the benefits they have on your overall health, with a specific focus on emotional health. You will learn:
*simple meditation practices to do any place and any time
* mindful eating and walking meditation practices
* Pranayama or breathing exercises
* mindful meditation
* guided / focused meditation
You will also experience the benefits of the deep meditative practice of yoga nidra!
Dates: Two weekends a month for the first three months of the new year.
Saturday: January 12 and 19, 2019 10:00am - 11:30am
Saturday: February 2 and 16, 2019 10:00am - 11:30am
Saturday: March 2 and 16, 2019 10:00am -11:30am
6 classes for $175
